Building Commissioning

News_ACF43D4.jpg It doesn’t matter how well-designed a building system is -- the components must be correctly installed and set up. Building commissioning verifies that this is the case.

While commissioning improves the efficiency of most buildings, it is especially vital for laboratory buildings, which use huge amounts of energy, have sophisticated control systems like fume hoods, and possess special safety requirements.

The best method is to use an outside commissioning agent who is added to the team early in the process. Don’t wait until after construction is complete.
